New Mini Car by GM
According to MSNBC.com, General Motors is considering bringing their new mini car, the Chevrolet Beat, to the United States in the future. According to leftlanenews.com, General Motors had introduced this vehicle along with two others at the New York Auto Show last year. Currently, the Chevrolet Beat is not being made, but will be in the near future. This vehicle is about the size of the Honda Fit or Toyota Yaris. General Motors is doing some research and studying the options with this car, but they will not be bringing these cars to the U.S. anytime soon. It will first be rolled out in other global markets. The Chevrolet Beat will be made in South Korea. General Motors says that it needs to make the car meet the U.S. standards for emissions and safety before it can sell it in the U.S. According to leftlanenews.com, here are the minimum specifics that are being given about the Chevrolet Beat right now….it will be a front-wheel drive, three-door hatchback, powered by a 1.2-liter turbocharged engine with an automatic transmission. No other specifics have been given about the Chevrolet Beat, but I’m sure more details to follow soon. Looks like a neat looking car that is small and compact and probably fuel efficient.
