I found an article on yahoo.com that I thought was important for people to see before they buy a new car.  Consumer Reports magazine says that maintenance and repair costs combine to equal about 4 percent of the total cost of owning a car over the course of five years.  Here is the list of Best/Worst Cars for Repair Costs.
