Cadillac/Lexus -Top Customer Satisfaction

Own a Cadillac or Lexus?  If you do, are you completely satisfied? Hopefully and if so you are not alone. According to autoweek.com, an annual University of Michigan study of customer satisfaction was done and Cadillac has joined Lexus as the top rated most pleased customers.  That’s a great honor. We owned a Cadillac recently, and LOVED it. I would have been one of those most pleased customers for sure!  Cadillac rose from number 2 to share the title with Lexus this year.  They each had a score of 89 in the American Customer Satisfaction Index.  The industry average was 84.  Customer satisfaction for all Detroit brands grew to this past year, but the European brands ranked first overall.  Lincoln-Mercury, Honda, and Buick rounded out the top 5. Toyota was just beat out by newcomer Lincoln-Mercury.

Ford, GM, and Chrysler’s satisfaction ratings all increased this year.  That’s good news for the Detroit Big 3, as well as interesting news as well. Who would have thought that with sales declining that satisfaction ratings could be increasing.  According to the article, the customer base is smaller due to less-satisfied customers not returning to the automakers, therefore those customers left are satisfied, somewhat skewing the numbers positively. Does that make sense?  Either way, Cadillac and Lexus were at the top, so maybe go buy one. I would like to!
