How many of you have aftermarket wheels? I googled aftermarket wheels and couldn’t get over how many different choices you have to choose from. It’s a HUGE market. I thought I’d give some quick facts in case you didn’t know about aftermarket wheels. Elementwheels.com offers tons of aftermarket wheels for every make and model. You can even get these wheels for your minivan! Another aftermarket wheel company is rims-n-tires.com. They offers a large selection of custom aftermarket wheels. These wheels are very competitive, so do your homework before buying them.
I thought I’d explain to you guys a few different wheels, so you know what is what when and if you are looking for aftermarket wheels.
Roderick Wheel - Elementwheels.com offers these for Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, and Japanese luxury vehicles. This wheel was designed to target luxury vehicles.
Staggered Wheels - this means that the rear wheels are wider than the front wheels, giving you what is known as a larger lip in the rear. Sometimes you can even get front and rear wheels the same size and still have the larger lip in the rear.
Black/Machined Face (with Chrome Lip) - these wheels give you the look of a 3 piece wheel without the 3 piece price. Some of these wheels are the Vertini wheel, Vossen wheel, and the XIX wheels.
So, here is the basic, and I mean basic details of aftermarket wheels. There is sooo much information out there about these wheels it’s incredible. Take a look when you get a chance if you are interested.
